Having studied at Chelsea College of Art and then spending 10 years working as a designer, art consultant and art teacher, Alex has combined her skills and expert knowledge to pursue working full time as an artist. Inspired by the tranquil sea and sun of her childhood home in Dubai and the dramatic, moody seas of North Yorkshire, where she was born and now lives, Alex creates abstract seascapes. She works with a range of media, but predominantly watercolour, acrylic, resin and gold leaf.
